Lubricant and additives specialist Xenum Techno-Chemicals is growing explosively after a strategic organizational renewal and the acquisition of Syntix Lubricants.
“Xenum has made enormous steps”, said Reno Meijer who is COO at the Belgium company since January 2016. “We have rebuilt the internal and external organization, tailored our products to the current and future market, optimized our social media marketing process and created new partnerships with national and international distributors. The sale of all our products is going steadily and smoothly up.”
Xenum has moved into new headquarters on 1st of June this year because of the growth. All products are in stock ready for delivery all around the world in the 3.700 square meters warehouse and production facility in the Belgian town Aartselaar. Xenum also develops and produces innovative and customized products for specific applications for all their customers in Aartselaar.
Professional technical sales team
Meijer previously was Managing Director at the tire sale organisation Tyrenet and CEO at Forté Noord-West Europa. “The cooperation with Xenum CEO Peter Tossyn is perfectly balanced. “Peter focuses with his, among other things, technical and chemical knowledge and experience on the future development of existing and new products. I focus on the organisation, sales and relationship management. This appears, after six months of cooperation, to be a good combination which is reflected in the explosive expansion of our sales activities.”
Xenum has launched eight new products since January 2016. Meijer: “Peter has now got plenty of room to develop more innovative products that act on current problems and challenges with combustion engines. Along with all the people who work at Xenu and Syntix, we are a professional technical and commercial winning team. We now provide fuel and oil additives, lubricants, oils and equipment. Delivery and support is carried out to 26 countries in three continents.”

To market our products well, Xenum, according to Meijer, has given their worldwide importers and distribution networks all the necessary tools to be able to sell the products. “First of all, we deliver high quality for a competitive price”, said Meijer. “Visually things have to be update. That is why we have elegant packaging to attract the attention and we support our products in a clear and simple way what it does and which financial benefits it provides for the salesman and final consumer.”
Xenum and Syntix customers have recently got access to renewed and to all applications with internet connection accessible Intranet platforms, social media, web shops and B2B websites. “Here is where our importers, distributors and technicians find all the information they ‘directly’ need to get clear communication between themselves to sell Syntix and Xenum.”
Xenum is looking for new distributors
“We have a full range of professional products and equipment for cleaning, protecting and maintaining vehicles”, decided Meijer. “In the Netherlands we now have a dense national covered network of importers and distributors. For the Netherlands we would still like to get in touch with specialists for technical support. Due to our rapid growth, we are urgently looking for resellers in Belgium and Luxembourg. They can count on good earnings, optimum support, reliable deliveries and working within a uncomplicated family company which is becoming famous worldwide really fast.”
Xenum and Syntix will attend the automotive trade fair Automechanika in Frankfurt from 13 to 17 September 2016. In hall 9 stand B90 Xenum and Syntix will present together with 10 exclusive European distributors all there innovation for (final) consumers and interested new distributors.
