With the aim of improving our internal processes and reach the highest standards, Xenum has obtained EELQMS certification for its ACEA oils.
The European Engine Lubricants Quality Management System (EELQMS) was developed jointly by ACEA (The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association), ATC (The Technical Committee of Petroleum Additive Manufacturers in Europe) and ATIEL (The Technical Association of the European Lubricants Industry).
It is a quality system for automotive engine lubricants that are designed to meet the minimum performance requirements of leading European vehicle manufacturers.
The EELQMS is a voluntary quality system but is THE ONLY system that can be used to support an ACEA performance claim.
This system embraces various European, North American and global quality standards, test methods and procedures, together with industry Codes of Practice and the requirements of the ACEA European Oil Sequences. You can see the full description about in the official website.
As a result of adopting this system, from now on this logo will be on all oil labels with ACEA specs, next to EAC and CE.
We are pleased to obtain this certificate, which joins the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 renewed one year ago.
For those who do not know these certificates, ISO Certifications are seals of approval that a company runs specific internationally recognized ISO management systems.
More precisely, the ISO 9001 is focused on ensuring we deliver a consistent level of quality to our customers, while ISO 14001 is an environmental management system.
With them, we aim to not only comply with our highest standards, but also the worldwide recognized ones.
