Let\u2019s find out how can you detect injector issues and how to fix them.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Clogged injectors symptoms<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Over time, the injectors suffer from the combustion inside the engine. Gasoline and diesel, both derived from petroleum, are not the cleanest fuels in the world and they always generate residue inside the engine.<\/p>\n<p>When this debris is left to build up, it doesn\u2019t allow for a proper fuel scattering and can even cause leaks or block the fuel flow.<\/p>\n<p>If this is the case, the driver should notice one of the following signs:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Increase in <strong>pollution<\/strong>, especially noticeable in the government's technical inspection of vehicles.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lower performance<\/strong> with an increase in fuel consumption<\/li>\n<li><strong>Starter<\/strong> issues (engine knocking, strange sounds)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Randomly<\/strong> bucking or surging<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Injector cleaning solutions<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The 3 most common ways to clean injectors are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Disassembling<\/strong> and cleaning with an ultrasonic machine<\/li>\n<li><strong>Disassembling<\/strong> some parts and cleaning with compressed air<\/li>\n<li><strong>Not disassembling<\/strong> at all and cleaning with additives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The methods which include disassembling should only be undertaken by a professional.
